The school focuses on learning and practicing the polish language and learning about the polish culture. Currently, the majority of students are children, but we may be able to accommodate adults who may be interested if we get at least 5. Please email [email protected] if you are an interested adult.
The classes take place on Saturdays (2-3 times a month, see the schedule below) from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Methodist Church in Salt Lake City (2375 E 3300 S w Salt Lake City)
We will create 3-4 groups of students based on ages and ability of students and number of students enrolled.
We focus on teaching a basic knowledge of Polish and the ability to communicate in our native language. We use traditional methods of learning as well as games and activities to engage children. There are elements of geography, history of Poland, as well as music classes, teaching polish songs, etc.
There is access to our school's children's library, with more than 500 books in Polish.
